After attempting to chase my boss down for nearly a week, I finally got to talk to her about cutting my hours. I got what I asked for, so I’m happy about that.

I will now be working three or four days per week at my regular job. With the busy season here, I expect to work four more than three. But that’s okay. At least I won’t be quite so pushed for time now.

I still have yet to figure out what’s going to happen when school lets out. The program I am thinking about enrolling Pumpkin in is taking applications this week, so I guess I’ll be finding out soon enough. I would love to just be able to up and quit my job, but I’m not making quite enough writing to do that. We could possibly scrape by, but I’ve done all of the scraping by I care to do for a while.

So overall things are good. I’ve got a little fear of the unknown going on, but otherwise I can’t complain.
