I helped one of my friends set up a blog over the weekend. When I was getting started and hunting and pecking my way through the whole blogging thing, I never dreamed that I would one day help someone else get started. Look at me now! :D

Go take a look at The Life of Ginger and leave her a comment. And if anyone would be interested in linking to her I’m sure she would appreciate it very much… *hint hint*

Mother’s Day is coming up, and I still haven’t bought anything for my mom. Shame on me.

I know I won’t get to go see her on the big day, so I’m thinking about getting something shipped to her. It may get there a little late, but better late than never, right? She knows by now that I would never forget about her, I just tend to procrastinate on things like that.

CouponChief.com is a coupon site with coupons from lots of great online stores. They’ve got some good FragranceNet deals, and Mom does love her perfume. In fact, I should be browsing their selection right now instead of blogging. See ya.

Thanks to Anita from A Tale of Two WAHMs for blogtipping me! I consider it quite an honor.

Never heard of blogtipping? I hadn’t either until it happened to me. You can learn about blogtipping on Anita’s blog. Due to my insane schedule I can’t make any promises, but I’m going to try to join in on it next month.

Yesterday I finally got up the nerve to mention working less hours to my boss. But I still don’t know what the verdict is.

I told her I needed to talk to her about it, and she said okay. But before I got to, she left to go to the doctor. I’m off for the weekend, so I will have to catch her next week to discuss it.

I’m on the schedule for a full week next week, so I will at least have to continue the juggling act that long. In a way I wish I could do both my regular job and writing full-time for a while, so we could save up some money. But I’m not getting to spend as much time with Pumpkin or Hubby as I want to, and that’s no good. My main objective in wanting to work from home was to spend more time with them anyway, so something is going to have to give a little.

Keep your fingers crossed for me. I’m doing a good job of maintaining a positive attitude through it all, and I know it will eventually pay off.
