Halloween will be here before we know it. It’s not too early to start thinking about how the kiddies are going to dress up, making plans to visit haunted houses, and that sort of fun stuff. But the kids aren’t the only ones who can get all decked out for Halloween.
I haven’t dressed up for Halloween since the year before Pumpkin was born, but it’s not because I haven’t wanted to. I’ve just been so preoccupied with getting her dressed up and making sure she has a good time that I haven’t bothered. But I saw some awesome sexy Halloween costumes at AngelBodyWear.com, and now I’ve got the fever.
One of my personal favorites is the Rainbow Brite costume. I had a Rainbow Brite doll as a child, but I never thought an adult could look so awesome dressed like that. Unfortunately that one doesn’t come in my size, but the Corrupt Cop does. Hubby would love that, but I’m not sure I would make it out of the house in it, if you know what I mean.
Whether you’re looking for a sexy Halloween costume or just something to drive your significant other crazy in, do check out Angel Body Wear’s costumes. I think you’ll be pleased.

The weather has been very much to my liking for the past week or so. It has been rather cool in the evenings and mornings, then warmed up nicely during the day. No oppressive heat, but no need for a jacket either. Awesome.
I do love this time of year, when summer is coming to a close but it isn’t quite fall yet. I think the only time I enjoy more is late spring. The weather is quite similar, but there’s the added bonus of things blooming out after a long, cold winter that puts a smile on my face.
It does sadden me to see the warm weather slowly coming to an end. If my air conditioning worked I wouldn’t mind it being hot. But it’s hard to work at home when it’s 100 degrees in my office. The heat fries my brain and I just can’t get anything done. When it’s cool in the mornings, it takes longer for the house to heat up and it doesn’t have time to get as hot by the time the sun goes down, giving me the opportunity to work whenever I need or want to.

Health insurance has been a big concern for my family lately. Hubby has been in bad shape for about two months now, and while he’s doing somewhat better he still has problems. His unpaid emergency room bills add up to about $1800, and his regular doctor won’t see him because we can’t afford to pay on the day he goes right now.
We’ve applied for Medicaid, but it will be a while before we find out whether or not we get it. It’s unfortunate that we haven’t had the money to get health insurance. When we get back on our feet, I’m going to check into it.
At USA-HealthInsurance.com you can get a Blue Cross Blue Shield quote, as well as quotes from other companies. It’s a quick and easy way to compare rates and plans. If you don’t have insurance, it’s worth a look. I know all too well how hard it is not having any.

For the first time in a couple of months, I’m not swamped with writing work to do. While it’s nice to have some breathing room, it also makes me a little nervous.
If our finances were in better shape it wouldn’t bother me in the least. But I just had one ongoing project I’ve been working on put on hold. It’s supposed to be temporary, and I hope it is very temporary. I got behind on it, and just recently ended up having the time and lack of distraction to really pour it to it. And now it’s gone for the time being.
I also don’t have any projects to work on in my other ongoing gig. Hopefully it’s just because of the holiday. Between all of that, all I have left is my blog advertising posts and my daily post at Web TV Hub. If that keeps up too long, there’s no way I can stay afloat.
I’m sure I’ll get some more work soon, and I’m worrying about nothing. But the way things are now, I can’t help it.

It’s hard to believe that summer is almost officially over. Labor Day is on Monday, and fall will officially begin later this month. As oppressively hot as it has been here in the mountains, I dread seeing it come to an end.
Now is a good time to stock up on yard art and other summer things, because they are going on sale. Online Discount Mart has some great deals right now. I found some stuff that was discounted as much as $100! Hurry on over there while they still have a good selection, and stock up and save.
