It does not seem like winter should be approaching so quickly. But I just looked at the local weather forecast, and highs are supposed to be in the thirties on Wednesday here. And there is a chance of snow!

Winter is my least favorite season. It can get pretty brutal around here. The past few years we haven’t gotten any large amounts of snow, but I recall having 18 inches one time since I’ve lived in the area. But it almost always gets really cold at some point. And icy roads are a common occurrence.

I just don’t want to even think about it…
