These are the two things my weekend has primarily consisted of. I developed a naggy cough yesterday, thanks to my interminable sinus infection. I’m on my second round of antibiotics for that, and I have a bad feeling that it won’t be my last.

And the weather is frightfully cold here today. I dread seeing our electric bill this month, because we’ve had to run the emergency heat all day today. We’ve also needed it several nights this month.

It would have been a great day to just hunker down indoors and get some work done. But Hubby got it in his head that we needed to go out and get breakfast this morning, so go out we did. We also ended up visiting his grandpa in the hospital, going to his parents’ house to get some calendars, and stopping by his grandpa’s house to visit his dad, who is holding down the fort while grandpa is in the hospital.

It felt good to come back home, where we at least don’t have to freeze our patooties off. Now I need to try to get lots of work done, both on the computer and off.
